The Wet Felting Local Wool workshop offers the opportunity to work with a material used for care and comfort for millennia. Touch connects us across time and place. Participants learn to mingle fibers with increasing intensity and condense them into non-woven felt through the accessible wet-felting technique of nomadic cultures. No tools or prior skills are required. Using water, soap, and rubbing, we gradually create a denser fabric of timeless feel. Guided by our hands, we make an object that carries meaning.

All wool is salvaged from being waste and comes from local breeds, processed using traditional methods.
