Workshop „Improvisational Exercises, Part I“ with Nancy Crow

The workshop "IMPROVISATIONAL EXERCISES PART I" is intended for people who have experience with freehand cutting, who are familiar with a sewing machine and who want to work spontaneously and intuitively with non-traditional quilting techniques.

Design exercises promote improvisational approaches to composition, without much "pre-planning" or "intellectualization". The 5-day course has been specially developed for quilters who want to work experimentally with machine-piecing techniques. The workshop is a unique opportunity to attend a Nancy Crow workshop without having to travel to the US. The course is translated into German every day. It is a newly designed workshop with exercises that Nancy Crow has not yet presented in Europe.

Nancy Crow has set standards in the field of artistic quilting with her large-format graphic works. She has been one of the leading figures in the "art quilt scene" for decades and has presented her works internationally at numerous exhibitions. She shares her knowledge and experiences in workshops. www.nancycrow.com
