Studio Jumi is a Berlin-based artist duo working at the interface of art, craft, and design. Founded by Julia Buntzel and Miriam Rose Gronwald, their joint work focuses on the diverse approaches to hand-weaving, combining technical and historical knowledge with the artistic process. 

 

As certified hand-weavers with artistic backgrounds in sculpture and dance, the duo offers art-based and practice-led workshops in their professionally equipped weaving studio in Berlin. The course program ranges from 1-Day Introductory Workshops, Weekend Workshops and Weaving Retreats. From setting up a loom, designing and weaving a product, or exploring materials, all classes are designed for anyone interested in learning more about the technique of hand-weaving and its creative possibilities in textile art.
