Exhibition of Monika Haeussler-Goeschl
Pop-Up-Scheune Nettetal-Lobberich, DE
The exhibition explores the Japanese philosophy of Wabi Sabi, which investigates
the beauty of things imperfect, impermanent and incomplete.
The inspirations for this exhibition are images of details of old buildings like cracks,
decaying walls or layers of torn wallpaper. Ideas of layering, open-work, irregularity
and change emerged and the artist translated them to the textile surface. Monika
Haeussler-Goeschl used both hand and machine knitting and transfer prints to
develop her ideas.
Opening hours: 28.08.-31.10.2022, Wednesday 14.30-18.00
