The exhibition with Lilly Hagg from Sunday, 3 October 2021 onwards in the lounge of the Museum Angerlehner shows approximately 20 of the textile artist’s works.

The trained dressmaker studied under Werner Liebmann in Berlin Weißensee and her creative work is influenced by Kokoschka, Carpaccio, Cezanne and Dubuffet, among others.
After an intense study of the history of painting she submerged herself in the world of fabric painting. At first Hagg used only plain fabrics, but in the course of time she got braver and braver and created expressive and emotionally intensive works with textiles of various textures and patterns: like this, even historic fabrics and second-hand clothes were used besides other materials.

The current world affairs as well as known personalities like Donald Trump or Greta Thunberg find their way into Lilly Hagg’s oevre.
