The works of the artist Regula Verdet from Guarda will be on view in the Swiss textile art gallery "art textil sent" from June 5th to 20th, 2021.
In Sent, the artist shows her textile work - woven canvases that are designed in an interesting way. A subtle colour scheme creates magical, multi-layered images that appear transparent and often also three-dimensional at the same time. Regula Verdet paints the threads before weaving them. This gives the actually strict, structured technique of weaving a playful lightness. At the same time you can feel that Regula Verdet deals very deeply with the issues at hand in her art.
