This workshop is for anyone who wants to expand or deepen their craft skills – no prior knowledge is required.
In a small group of no more than 8 participants, you'll learn the basics of English Paper Piecing step by step. The focus is on a hands-on introduction and independent practice. Personal support will be available throughout the workshop.
What is English Paper Piecing?
English Paper Piecing is a precise hand-sewing technique in which fabric pieces are wrapped around paper templates and sewn together by hand. It allows for geometrically accurate patterns and is often used for striking quilts or patchwork projects. The technique is known for its meticulous detail, for creating fabric constructions that would be difficult or impossible to sew with a machine – and for the calm and focus it brings during the process.

This is a vibrant place where artistic ideas grow and take shape in a respectful atmosphere. As an artist, I guide you in discovering creative processes and implementing artistic strategies in a practical way.
