The international fiber art exhibition Miniartextil is back to Montrouge, a quarter of Paris, for the 17th time.

The partnership between the Italian cultural association Arte&Arte and the French municipality was interrupted only for one year, in 2021, due to the Pandemic restrictions.

The exhibition, inaugurated on Saturday February 19, is open until Sunday March 13, every day for free from 12.00 am to 7.00 pm in the Salle Nicole Ginoux at Le Beffroi in Montrouge.

Visitors can see 54 mini artworks selected for the 30th anniversary of the show (in Como Italy was in 2020) and artworks by Guido Nosari, Angela Glajcar, Filippo Avalle, Marisa Bronzini, Joel Andrianomearisoa, Jospeh Grau Garriga, Barbara Shawcroft, Giulio Locatelli, Mimmo Totaro, Gin Angri, Marialuisa Sponga, Wanda Casaril and Alvaro Diego Gomez Campuzano.

Every year a special commission in Montrouge choose among the minitextiles an artwork winning the Montrouge Prize: that work is acquired by the Municiaplity and remain in its permanent collection. This year the prize went to the Colombian artist Alvaro Diego Gomez Campuzano with the work “We are all one”.

Montrouge is a lively town with an artistic vocation, easily reachable from the centre of Paris by subway (line 4 Montrouge).
