Metamoprhosis is an international textile art exhibition that is shown in addition to the MINIARTEXTIL in Como and wants to celebrate the 30th anniversary of this important international event. The show takes place at Villa Olmo, a beautiful neoclassical Villa on the lake banks in the heart of the city centre.
A large number of works will be shown that combine classical techniques and new media, tradition and innovation, recycling and repetition. The charm of the exhibited works and the importance of the participating artists make Metamorphosis the ideal project to pay tribute to the 30 year history of MINIARTEXTIL.
The show was possible thanks to the help of important Italian collectionsists such as Massimo Minini or Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo.
METAMORPHOSIS is organised by Fondazione Bortolaso Totton Spongawas and was curated by Giovanni Berera, Paolo Bolpagni and Sonia D’Alto.
