The 10th Biennial Fiber Art juried exhibition is held every two years at Sebastopol Center for the Arts (SCA). Artists from all over the world are invited to enter this outstanding celebration of fiber arts. Over 3.000 attend this well publicized and reviewed exhibit. Although organizers are optimistically expecting to have an onsite show, this exhibit may be virtual due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns. Notification will be emailed. The exhibition is co-sponsored by Sebastopol Center for the Artsand Surface Design Association.
International Fiber Arts X is a juried exhibition presenting a distinct approach to innovative and traditional fiber techniques, and a contemporary concept for the use of traditional and unusual materials. The chosen work invites the viewer to experience the many facets of fiber art. Accepting both two or three-dimensional pieces including wearable and installation art. In 2021 the Center of the Arts is giving special consideration to environmental issues. Work that addresses this theme is encouraged but is not required to enter or for selection into the exhibition.
