Its a pleasure to invite designer Daniel Henry (Belgium) to give a masterclass in our Werkplaats!
How to change the hand and the look of a textile with finishings and embellishments printing with polymers and glues (water based pastes only). Playing with the mesh of the screen, from flat to micro 3D printing, customizing the paste to create unique textures.
About Daniel Henry
The Daniel Henry Studio was founded in July 2000 and is a research and development laboratory and a textile producing workshop. It is well known for its innovation, mastery of a cross-section of techniques and its work in transforming materials.
During a long time Daniel Henry Studio works internationally, with a wide range of applications (textile industry, prêt-à-porter, haute-couture, decoration, wall coverings, costumes, graphic arts). The studio has acquired a high level of expertise in the design and production of unique and original projects.
Prerequisites: willingness to experiment, discover and explore, curious, open-minded. The participants MUST have the basic knowledge of screenprinting and can be novice in coatings The goal of the workshop is to sample / no finished product will be created.

The workshops are given in small groups.
The workshops will only take place if there is sufficient interest and after payment for the workshop or course.
We do not give refunds if you are unable to participate in a workshop or course.
Unless otherwise stated, the course prices include the basic materials for printing the lesson assignments. You can purchase additional materials for a fee or bring your own. The use of own materials is not reimbursed. Coffee and tea are offered free of charge during the workshops.
On presentation of an Ooievaarspas 50% discount up to a maximum discount of € 330,- including VAT per participant per year. If you have an Ooievaarspas, you cannot register online for a workshop. Send an email to email@example.com.
