Mobile Textile Techniques Reinterpreted
Lecture and Mini-Workshop

Mobile textile techniques offer enormous potential to connect people and places. Techniques such as tablet weaving and backstrap weaving traditionally require minimal materials, making them highly portable and location-independent. I am interested in the various levels of connection through textiles and how I can translate these techniques into new narratives and dimensions. My current research and experiments on these topics will be presented in the lecture.
