The Symcraft project
SYMCRAFT unites several EU partners to strengthen the circular economy in Europe and develop new cooperation models between industry and crafts in the fields of wood & furniture, agro-food, and textiles. Industrial production waste becomes a valuable resources in this process. The Textile Center Haslach reports on previous activities, such as the networking event "MIST! Rethinking Textile Waste" and the first expert workshop, and gives an outlook on upcoming actions and collaboration opportunities.

Joanna Czekajlo studied Textile Design at Kunsthochschule Weißensee and the University of Art and Design Linz. Through her involvement in the Interreg EU project SYMCRAFT, she is currently working on upcycling strategies for textile production waste.
